Chris Marquardt, from St. Louis, MO, attended Nerinx Hall for school where she played both volleyball (2 years varsity) and basketball (4 years varsity). After High School, she went on to play collegiate basketball at Jefferson Community College for one year. From there, she continued to play three more years at Lindenwood University.
Chris has been coaching club and high school 18 years, including coaching club for 10. In 2009, Marquardt took her Rockwood Thunder 11U team to 7th place finish in the Gold division of Gateway Regional. She then coached for St. Louis Elite from 2010 to 2011. Her 12u team placed 3rd and Gateway Regionals and received a bid for Junior Nationals (American Division) in 2010. She coached Team Momentum starting at 13u through 18u. This season she will be coaching 13u.
Marquardt has coached at Rockwood Summit high School for 12 years. She is currently the varsity assistant for the boys and girls volleyball teams. Chris is a sixth grade Physical Education /Health teacher at Crestview Middle School. She has worked for the Rockwood School District since 1995.

This is Kenna’s 3rd year coaching club. She has previously coached 11u for Team Momentum and 13u for H2. Kenna currently coaches the Freshman volleyball team at Marquette High School.
Kenna played club volleyball from 10u-18u. Most of those years with Team Momentum starting at 13u. She graduated Marquette High School in 2017 and played 2 years on Varsity. After graduating high school, Kenna continued to play volleyball at STLCC - Meramec. She is currently a student at SIUE studying Psychology and Art and will graduate in December.
Kenna is excited to be back and share her knowledge and love of the game with the people around her.

Kara is from St. Charles, MO and played competitive soccer until the age of 11. At the age of nine, she developed a love for volleyball and played club volleyball from U11-U18. This year will be Kara's first year of coaching, and she is excited to help others achieve their best on and off the court.
Kara played various positions during her volleyball career, but libero/ds was her passion. Playing for Team Momentum for five years, U14-U18, she had the best club experiences and coaches. In 2014, her team won a bid to Nationals with the help of their coach John Steele. While attending Francis Howell Central she played JV/ Varsity her freshman year as an all-around outside hitter and played Varsity the next three years as libero/ds.
Kara had the honor to attend the USAV HP Training Program three times in Colorado Springs, Co. Her first invite was in 2012 to the National A1 program as an outside hitter. She was invited again in 2013 and 2016 to the National A2 program as a libero. In 2016, her team won the National USAV HP Tournament, and it was a highlight of her volleyball career.
Deciding not to play collegiate volleyball, Kara is in her third year on an academic scholarship at the University of Missouri – Saint Louis pursuing a nursing degree. She has always had a passion for helping others and is happy to help coach with Team Momentum to share her love for and knowledge of volleyball.

Emily was born and raised in STL and has 2 brothers, a sister and a sweet little niece. She grew up in a family focused on soccer, but soon became the volleyball child.
She has been playing volleyball since 3rd grade and has always had a passion to grow in the sport.
she played for momentum for 3 years, 2 times with JP, Once with roman and had the best times! She went to Francis Howell Central and played varsity all 4 years. During her freshman year she played for all 3 teams and it was an experience for sure! Her senior year, she helped lead her high-school team to state for the first time in program history!
Emily is currently a college student and will be coaching 14 White! she has always wanted to be a coach and is so excited to share everything she has learned with each of her players!

Maryn was born and raised in STL, she grew up watching her 4 older sisters play volleyball. She started playing volleyball in 3rd grade and has made so many memories over the years. She played club volleyball for 4 years with different clubs in the St. Louis area. This is Maryn’s first season coaching for Team Momentum.
Maryn attended Francis Howell Central where she played volleyball for three years as a setter.
Maryn is currently a student at St. Charles Community College and will be coaching 13 white. She has always wanted to share her knowledge about volleyball with other athletes and guide them to be successful both on and off the court.
