Heather is one of the area’s top coaches and athletic trainers. Entering her 15th year coaching club and her 13th year with PlyoCity, she has trained thousands of athletes. Many of the athletes she trained have achieved significant successes in their sport, including earning awards in high school and awards and scholarships at the collegiate level.
Most recently, in 2016 her 13s won the Northern Lights Qualifier and earned a bid to play in the American Division at Nationals.
Heather is an accomplished athlete in her own right. As captain all four years at Tennessee Martin she lead the team won two conference titles in the OVC. Heather attended Westminster Christian Academy and was an All-State swimmer and volleyball player.
As varsity coach for Westminster Christian Academy, Heather led her 2007 team to the finals of the Missouri State High School Championship and won a state championship in 2012.
Her responsibilities as General Manager of PlyoCity include overseeing a staff of coaches and trainers to provide speed and agility training for many elite teams and players in St. Louis and around the country. Heather has personally trained Saint Louis University’s conference championship women’s volleyball team, University of Alabama’s women’s volleyball team and other top club and high school teams in the St. Louis area.

Alan has lived in the St. Louis area for over 20 years. He played volleyball with the club team while at the University of Houston and has been coaching for the past 7 years. This is his third year with Team Momentum. Alan has coached a CYC team, middle school volleyball, and is also coaching JV girl’s volleyball at Westminster Christian Academy.
He works as an engineering group manager for Stone Technologies and lives in St. Charles with his wife, Laura and daughter, Avery.
Alan’s favorite area of focus in coaching youth sports is a reminder that the two things an athlete can always control are their attitude and their effort.

Lindsey Gross played for Parkway Central all four years of her high school career. She played defense as well as outside hitter. While in high school Lindsey was a versatile player and learned to play any and every position she was needed in. Lindsey played for PLVC for 1 year and then played for Team Momentum the rest of her volleyball club career. She played for team momentum for 5 years in which her team went to nationals twice. Lindsey continued her volleyball career at Lindenwood University in which she played Libero and majored in Math education. While at Lindenwood Lindsey coached 1 year for PLVC and 2 years for Momentum. Following Lindenwood, Lindsey continued to Coach at the school which she worked at, Gateway Science Academy. Lindsey was the head High school coach for 3 years until she moved schools and continued to help with the Hazelwood volleyball program. Lindsey has always had a passion for coaching, instilling a love for volleyball, and building good character within her players. Lindsey as well has 3 players on her home team. She has a 17 year old Jasmine, a 4 year old Cohen, and a 2 year old Maevry. While Lindsey has gained many rewards and acknowledgements for volleyball her greatest privilege is being a mother to awesome children! She hopes her players will enjoy her corny mom jokes and laugh along with her as they improve their skills and grow into amazing volleyball players.

Zhane Sims is currently a Senior Middle Blocker at Hazelwood Central High School. She has been playing club volleyball for the past 4 years. Sims has been with Team Momentum for one season. She is super hard working and working to play volleyball at the next level. Her love for the game is contagious. We are so excited to have her working with our 11s program this season. She will continue to compete for our 18 Navy team this 2021 season.
